Another milestone for operational hygiene and safety: the Oxy3 decontamination system is now officially listed in the gfd® portfolio.
This means that our solution for PAH decontamination and odour removal will now be offered through one of the largest and most well-established specialist dealer networks for fire services in the German-speaking region.
Why this matters

Fire departments face the challenge of protecting their crews from the long-term effects of smoke and soot exposure. Studies show that conventional cleaning is not sufficient – carcinogenic polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) often remain in textiles and materials. This is exactly where Oxy3 comes in:
Modular use: stationary in the decontamination cabinet or mobile at the emergency vehicle
Proven effectiveness: PAHs are reduced below OEKO-TEX limit values
Gentle on materials: PPE remains functional – membranes, reflectors and hook-and-loop fasteners retain their properties
No additional chemicals and residue-free: operates exclusively with oxygen and distilled water
gfd® as a strong partner
The Gemeinschaft Feuerwehrfachhandel Deutschland (gfd®) is an alliance of currently 18 specialist fire-service dealers with nationwide coverage. Through its central warehouse in Ludwigsfelde, gfd® keeps more than 2,500 products permanently in stock and supports over 25,000 fire departments across Germany.

With the inclusion of the Oxy3 decontamination system, our solution becomes widely visible and easily accessible for fire departments.
How fire departments can obtain Oxy3 via gfd®
The procurement process is simple and practical:
Contact the nearest gfd member: fire departments reach out to their regional gfd dealer. A full list of dealers can be found on the gfd website.
Consultation & offer: the dealer prepares an individual concept – tailored to the size, deployment profile and requirements of the fire department.
Delivery & service: via the central warehouse and regional support, the system is delivered quickly and handed over ready for use.
Training & support: gfd members provide introduction, service and maintenance to ensure long-term reliable operation of the Oxy3 system.

A step towards becoming standard
With the gfd listing, one goal moves closer: establishing Oxy3 as a core component of modern operational hygiene. The demand for practical and reliable solutions is growing – and with gfd®, a nationwide distribution network is now in place to support fire departments in implementing them.
