The modular system consists of the Oxy3 OC-10 ozone–water vapour generator, the Oxy3 SK-L-OV decontamination cabinet and the Oxy3 RW-SF10 roll cart.

In the decontamination cabinet, clothing and equipment can be treated easily and quickly (35 or 90 minutes).

For pure smoke and odour contamination, decontamination takes place directly in the cabinet without prior washing. For contamination involving soot, ash or similar residues, pre-cleaning is required to ensure effective decontamination inside the cabinet.

The decontamination system is compact and mobile, allowing it to be positioned effortlessly anywhere on site, depending on local conditions.

System's mode of action
A sophisticated combination of water vapour and ozone is key to the effectiveness of the treatment. The Oxy3 generates the required amount of ozone on-site from pure oxygen (O₂). After the treatment, any remaining ozone is fully neutralised (O₃ is converted back into O₂), ensuring that no ozone remains inside the vehicle or the decontamination cabinet.

The water vapour used in the process combines with ozone to form active oxygen, which settles on surfaces as a fine condensate. Moisture and active oxygen work together to break down organic odours and contaminants that are bound within surface layers (e.g. upholstery, fabrics). The depth of penetration depends on the material type and structure. A deep-level cleaning (e.g. into the foam of seats) cannot be guaranteed with the Oxy3.
The Oxy3 is the only device on the market that works with the combined process of "ozone, active oxygen and water vapor".
Conventional ozone generators use air and produce ozone with the oxygen present in the air. However, air consists of only 21% oxygen; the rest is nitrogen (78%) and trace gases, including other environmental pollutants (1%). These must also pass through the ozone generator. The formation of undesirable substances such as nitrogen oxides is therefore unavoidable. Nitrogen oxides often leave an unpleasant odor and are also harmful (toxic) to humans and the environment. In contrast, the Oxy3 uses only pure oxygen from an oxygen cylinder. This ensures the production of highly purified ozone and completely avoids harmful byproducts.
